Copperad, heating with history

Copperad can trace its history back to 1932 when the British Unit Heater Company was founded by Mr. S. J. Holmes and Mr. R. F. Jarratt.

The name Copperad first appeared in 1939 when the company moved to St Pancras Place, London; it was chosen as the brand name for its unit heaters. In 1945 another heater was designed to replace radiators – and the Copperad fan convector was born.

Ownership of the company has changed at times but it never lost its vision to develop the highest quality products. Copperad has continued to use the latest materials and technologies to build heaters that have made the name Copperad a byword for reliability and service.

One of the most significant changes was the decision to sell Copperad products into the UK exclusively through nationwide distributor BSS (UK), offering major benefits to designers and contractors through the network of local branches.
